The project has an installed capacity of 50MW, equipped with 10MW/40MWh electrochemical energy storage, divided into 8 energy storage units and 8 PCS booster integrated machines. It adopts a complementary development model of pastoral and solar, which greatly expands the business scope of new energy development in Nima County and is a powerful tool for achieving the "dual carbon" goal and promoting green development. As of December 2023, the project has completed a total investment of 220 million yuan, using more than 150 local laborers and achieving a direct increase in income of about 1 million yuan. It is expected to provide 99221.7MWh of electricity to the State Grid each year. Compared with thermal power with the same power generation, it can save 30,000 tons of standard coal each year, and correspondingly reduce the emission of various air pollutants each year, including about 87,000 tons of carbon dioxide, about 32.74 tons of sulfur dioxide, 32.74 tons of nitrogen oxides, and 9.9 tons of smoke. At the same time, it also has a large number of tax, land rent, charity education funds and other multi-party interest linkage mechanisms, which has laid a solid foundation for the innovative adjustment of Nima County's energy structure and the promotion of green and sustainable economic and social development.
